May 14, 2021 · Replaced my left joycons joystick recently and all was good at first. I don't often use the thing in handheld mode so I didn't notice. I have been through and checked that no ribbon cables are disconnected. I can't find a diagram of the left joycon internals and what they do, because I feel like that would help massively. Left joycon not connecting. Basically my right joycon will show physically connected via a charge icon but the joycon is showing wireless and not handheld. Like i said completely random the only time it really recreates itself is when I've been playing docked for a while and the switch is hot. I also have two joycons and when the issue is present neither will connect.
