Ruger old army serial numbers

When I checked the serial number on mine (145-37160) I was puzzled to see that Rugers website said it was manufactured in 1982. Strange since I bought it new from a dealer here in Norway in 1993. I still have the receipt, original box, plastic Ruger bag, nipple tool and owners manual.
