The Obsidian Large Plate has a chance to not lose durability, and a smaller chance to lose double durability., hello i dont know too much about the crafting aspect of the weapons from tinkers construct so id like to know the opinion of people who do. the server im currently playing on has tinkers but it was mainly used for the engineering part. now some people start to craft and already have swords with like 15 base atk and that seems to be quite a lot compared to a sharp5 dia sword which only has like ..., Consumes all remaining durability on a tool or weapon to heal you to full, give regen, fire resistance, and Health Boost 2. You have to be at ~2.5 hearts or lower, and have the item in your hand. Do note that scrolling past the item in your hotbar while low on health is enough to activate SOS! If I remember correctly, I started with hard carbon cores, lead trim, and whatever material gives extra hearts for the third bit. Eventually the cores got swapped out for supremium.
